Meidao Group Takes Action to Spread Warmth During Mid-Autumn Festival
On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Meidao Group's East China International Auto Mall and the enterprise dealers in the park held a public welfare sympathy activity to bring warmth to those in need, including widows and orphans.
On September 2, General Manager Wu Huajun of East China International Auto Mall and Jetway car dealers went to Jinjiqiao community to pay condolences to low-income households. They visited Wu Mou, a low-income household in Lotus Land Community, and learned about her family's difficulties. Wu Mou was diagnosed with cervical cancer, her husband had a stroke with limited mobility, and they had two children in school. Mr. Wu encouraged them to have confidence in life and sent them rice, oil, and other materials, along with 1000 yuan condolence money. He also promised to continue paying attention to their situation and driving more people to help them.
On the morning of September 9, ED Auto Mall, together with the dealers of Jetway, Chery, Weimar, and Tohu, went to Hua Hu Tian Yi Recreation Center to pay condolences to widows and orphans. They sent more than RMB 10,000 worth of moon cakes, rice, oil, fruits, tea, and other condolences and cash to them. General Manager Wu Huajun expressed that respect for the elderly and love for the young is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation.
