Meidao Company's Party Committee Holds Successful General Election Meeting

On June 26th, Meidao Company's Party Committee held its third general election meeting at the former site of the Red 15 Army in Gangxi Village, Dawang Town. 45 members of the company's on-the-job party members took part in the election meeting. Leaders from Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone Work Committee - Tieshan District Committee, Dawang Town's Organization Office, and the company, including Wang Ling, Huang Haiyan, and Yin Zhiwen, attended the meeting.

Before the start of the meeting, the party committee held a short celebration of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the party. The ceremony included a new member induction for Liu Xia and Zhang Li, who made speeches on behalf of the party. A renewed oath of joining the party activities followed, where all party members raised their right fists and solemnly swore in front of the bright red party flag.

The election meeting opened with the national anthem, and the General Assembly was well-organized, following provisions and procedures outlined in "Constitution of the Communist Party of China" and "Communist Party of China Regulations on Elections of Grassroots Organizations." The election resulted in Huang Haiyan, Yin Zhiwen, Zhang Huawen, Li Shaolian, Ji Chuang, and other five comrades being elected as new party committee members. In the first meeting of the third party committee held subsequently, Comrade Huang Haiyan was elected as the secretary of the party committee, and Comrade Yin Zhiwen was elected as the deputy secretary.

Newly elected Secretary of the Party Committee, Comrade Huang Haiyan, made a speech on behalf of the new Party Committee team members. She outlined three aspects that the new Party Committee team would focus on in the future: "love," "learning," and "dry." Huang emphasized that the new Party Committee team would work practically, strongly, and in detail to fulfill their duties to the Party Committee.

Lv Jun, Vice Minister of Organization Department of Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone Work Committee - Tieshan District Committee congratulated the company's new leadership team. He fully affirmed the significant contribution made by Meidao over the years to the development of the development zone's economic construction and the party's construction. Minister Lv hopes that Meidao's party committee will continue to adhere to the party's leadership, strengthen the party's construction, and give full play to the role of the political core.

After the General Assembly, Director Chang Lei led all party members to visit the red base and recounted the Red 15 Corps' heady days. The visit inspired every party member at the scene to bear in mind their mission as members of the Communist Party and to take practical action to contribute to the development of Meidao.
